What problem are you solving?
Submitting and evaluating an idea at a company or organization is difficult, time consuming, and costly. It leads to disengaged employees, wasted legal hours, and poor management visibility.
How do you solve the problem?
Inventr is a web/mobile app that empowers intrapreneurs within a company to drive innovation. We provide an engaging platform (gamified/A.I. driven) for employees to submit ideas with real-time patentability scoring and rewards, and assist legal and management teams with auto-generated disclosure forms and visibility for data driven strategic decisions.

Manu received a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2013 from Washington University in St. Louis.
What is your favorite part about being an entrepreneur?
Manu Stephen (MS): Every single day has the potential to be a game changer and the only ceilings are the ones you set.
What is the most challenging part about being an entrepreneur?
MS: While the highs are blissfully high, the lows can get quite low. Realizing that this is something every successful entrepreneur has experienced makes it much easier to overcome.
What is your #1 tip for building a strong team?
MS: Find those who are as excited and passionate about the mission as much as you are.
What is your must-read book?
MS: Currently reading The Hard Thing About Hard Things by Ben Horowitz.
