The Skandalaris Center National Council plays a key role in setting and achieving our vision and goals. It is important that the members of our council have a strong connection to WashU and demonstrate a commitment to advancing entrepreneurship and innovation at the university and in St. Louis, which is why we are thrilled to welcome Cliff Holekamp as the newest member of the council.

As the Cofounder and Managing Director at Cultivation Capital, an early stage venture capital firm which manages multiple funds and accelerators, Cliff brings years of history and experience with the university and the Skandalaris Center to his role on the council.

“I am so grateful for the impact that the Skandalaris Center has had on my students, and for entrepreneurship at WashU, over the years.  It is a privilege to do what I can to continue to support Skandalaris in its mission,” shared Cliff on his appointment.

Throughout his time as the Professor of Practice and Academic Director for Entrepreneurship at Olin Business School, Cliff shaped the university’s entrepreneurs and was named one of the Top 100 Entrepreneurship Professors in the world.

Prior to his role at WashU, Cliff was the Founder and President of Foot Healers. His nonprofit board service includes the Yield Lab Institute, the Saint Louis Zoo, the Missouri Development Finance Board, and the Board of Trustees of Washington & Lee University.

Cliff holds a B.A. from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.  He worked as an account executive for IBM before beginning his entrepreneurial career.
