As of November 1, 2021, Chris Ramsay joins the team at the Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurship as Associate Director. In his new role, Ramsay will lead the Center’s operations to engage with students, faculty, staff, and alumni as entrepreneurial collaborators and leaders.

“We are so excited to bring Chris Ramsay onto the Skandalaris Team,” said Luscri, “His experience and leadership will help propel the Skandalaris Center to a new level of excellence.” Ramsay was most recently the Assistant Dean, Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Student Success at the McKelvey School of Engineering. He served as an academic advisor for undergraduate students and managed first year admissions for McKelvey School of Engineering. Ramsay was awarded McKelvey Engineering’s “Outstanding Staff Award” for 2017-2018.

According to Ramsay, “Joining the Skandalaris Team and working to support students and the innovation community at Washington University is such an exciting opportunity. I have had the great fortune of serving on the STEP Advisory Committee since 2018 and have seen first-hand the impact The Center has on students, the Washington University campus, and the St. Louis region. My professional career has always included supporting students alongside leading projects, events, and people. I see this new role as a continuation of this very important work but with new challenges and opportunities.”

Chris Ramsay replaces Mike Seper who has a new role as the University Program Director at Washington University with the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN).
