ST. LOUIS, Missouri (February 18, 2025)—Every year, millions of Americans set fitness and nutrition resolutions, yet most struggle to see lasting results. The challenge? A one-size-fits-all approach fails to account for individual metabolism and physiology. Enter BODYSIM—a St. Louis-founded fitness platform that redefines how people understand and optimize their body composition. Powered by cutting-edge digital twin technology, BODYSIM delivers real-time, personalized insights based on an individual’s unique metabolic response to food and exercise.

At the core of BODYSIM is an intuitive app-based system that creates a “digital twin” of the user’s body. It integrates data from sources including DEXA scans and 3D body scans for precise body composition tracking, BIA weigh-ins via the Withings® Body Scan Scale, blood panels to monitor hormones, vitamins, and metabolic markers. There’s also tracking for macros using the Escali® Food Scale and fitness with exercise performance insights. The result is customized resistance workouts to optimize muscle gain and fat loss along with expert-crafted meal plans based on actual metabolic feedback. Other features of BODYSIM include overtraining protection systems that adjust intensity and volume, in-app grocery ordering through Walmart Plus for seamless nutrition planning along with community access and coaching support for guidance and motivation.

“We designed BODYSIM to go beyond the typical fitness app by factoring in the complexity of each individual’s metabolism, lifestyle, and goals,” said Ryan Richt, founder of BODYSIM. “Unlike other apps that rely on generic calculations, we sought to create an app that uses real-time data and personalized metrics to deliver individualized workouts and meal plans that are backed by science. By synthesizing these diverse elements into a cohesive system, BODYSIM helps users understand not just calories, but the unique role of macronutrients in transforming body composition and interacting with resistance training, creating a truly holistic and personalized approach to health optimization.”

With over two decades of expertise in data science and computational biology, the BODYSIM team identified a critical gap in the fitness industry—a lack of research-backed tools for truly optimizing body composition. The result is a scientifically grounded system designed for serious fitness enthusiasts, now available nationwide, with an exclusive kick-off in St. Louis.

With a subscription, users of the app gain full access to adaptive features, including tailored, prescriptive exercise and meal plans as well as real-time health insights, all designed to optimize muscle gain, fat loss, and overall fitness. BODYSIM is priced at $1,599 to start, followed by a $239 monthly subscription. To learn more and get started, visit www.BODYSIM.com.
