In celebration of International Women and Girls in Science Day, we are hosting a panel discussion with Skandalaris’ newest Expert on Call, Dr. Cheryl Watkins-Moore, Dr. Cristina de Guzman Strong, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Washington University and a former LEAP winner, and Dr. Margo Edwards, a WashU alum who currently serves as the Director of the Applied Research Laboratory at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The panel will discuss what motivated them to pursue the study of science in medicine and applied research and will share how young women and girls can do the same!

Breakout discussions will be led by our women in STEM Experts on Call Shanae Chapman, Abby Cohen, and Veronika Redmann.
