Skandalaris Center, Mallinckrodt 128, 6465 Forsyth Blvd #128, St. Louis, MO 63105
Join the Skandalaris Center and the Women & Engineering Center as we host Judy Raper, PhD. Judy is a renowned Australian chemical engineer and academic who has made significant contributions to both academia and entrepreneurship. She was a key figure in the establishment of iAccelerate, a unique business incubator at the University of Wollongong that has supported hundreds of startups and entrepreneurs. Dr. Raper’s entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there; she went on to be the founding Dean at The Engineering and Design Institute London (TEDI-London), a groundbreaking initiative aimed at transforming engineering education through innovative, project-based learning.
Her work in these areas has been widely recognized, and she was named one of Australia’s “100 Women of Influence” by the Australian Financial Review and Westpac in 2012, as well as being listed in Engineers Australia’s “Top 100 Influential Engineers” for three consecutive years from 2013 to 2015.
She will share her insights with entrepreneurial and innovation students during a fireside chat that will include a Q&A and light refreshments.
