This workshop helps current StEP business owners prepare their ventures for a smooth and healthy leadership transition. Drawing on expertise from the Bauer Leaders Academy, the session will focus on how to ready a business for new owners, document essential knowledge, build systems that survive turnover, and create rituals and norms that support continuity. Students will also explore the mindset shift required when stepping out of a leadership role, including how to let go with intention while staying appropriately supportive of the incoming team.

Ideal for current StEP owners but open to any student interested in leadership development, organizational stewardship, or understanding what effective transitions look like in practice.
