NCATS and NCI SBIR/STTR Grant Funding Workshop

Presented by the Skandalaris Center, the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS), and the Siteman Cancer Center

 

*ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED* Do your research projects have potential for commercialization? Do you want to tailor your research to have more translational emphasis but are unsure if the government has resources to support it? Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) are federal funding designed to promote commercialization of early-stage technologies developed in the labs.

Come join us for an exciting workshop that includes:          

  • A seminar by NIH staff from the National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to introduce SBIR/STTR and related resources available to you from federal agencies
  • An introduction to The Grant-to-Business (G2B) program offered by BioGenerator, which helps St. Louis-based innovators produce highly-competitive SBIR/STTR grant applications
  • An one-on-one meeting with NIH staff to evaluate the feasibility of your projects for SBIR/STTR application and what you should do next
