  • Martin Pratt is a Research Scientist in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences. During his time studying for a PhD is seismology at Washington University he has developed a keen interest in data visualization, especially using emerging technology. He has established the AR Fossett Laboratory for Virtual Planetary Exploration. This new lab is embracing augmented reality platforms in order to display complex concepts within the Earth Sciences.
  • Professor Jon Silva joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis in July 2012. As a postdoctoral fellow at Washington University School of Medicine, Professor Silva received the prestigious Burroughs Wellcome Fund Career Award at the Scientific Interface (CASI), which is given to scientists with backgrounds in physics, mathematics, computer science, and engineering who want to explore the new frontier of biology.
  • Natacha Alpert is an adjunct professor at Washington University – School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The spring 2019 semester focuses on Emerging, Disruptive, and Sustainable technologies. Her course covers 3D and 4D printing, Nanotechnology, Generative Design, LIFI, Blockchain, Piezoelectrics, Automation, Bio-manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Quantum Computing. She is the founder of MIRAS3D and has worked as Adidas, Reebok, Asics, Replica Labs, Caleres Timberland, and various tech startups.
