SUMMARY:VC Methods for Early-Stage Startup Valuations
DESCRIPTION:Before making an investment\, investors must determine whether a startup is not only promising but also a financial fit for their fund. This means applying valuation methods to assess whether the deal aligns with their return expectations. But how do investors value early-stage startups with limited financial history? \nJoin us for the final session of our Venture Evaluation Series\, where we’ll explore the valuation methods VCs use to price startups. You’ll learn how investors estimate a company’s worth\, structure deals\, and evaluate whether an opportunity fits their fund’s strategy. Whether you’re an aspiring investor\, a founder preparing to raise capital\, or simply curious about startup valuation\, this workshop will give you a hands-on understanding of how VCs think about financial returns. \nThis session also serves as a key preparation opportunity for the Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC)\, where students will analyze real startups and make investment decisions. If you’ve been following the series\, this is the final step in sharpening your ability to evaluate startups like a real investor! \n  \nRegister here!
