Media Mondays: Superpowers of Visual Storytelling

Learn how to present your research in a clear, concise, and compelling way for grant applications, presentations, and other communications when the Office of Faculty Affairs presents, “Superpowers of Visual Storytelling” by LaVidaCo Communications.

LaVidaCo principals Laura Stanton and David LaGesse have worked with a number of Washington University faculty members on successful grant applications, research kits, and clinical materials. Ms. Stanton specializes in infographics and design, having spent more than two decades on the staff of The Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, and the Dallas Morning News. She also teaches information graphics at the University of Missouri Journalism School. Mr. LaGesse is a writer and editor with broad experience in mainstream media, including as a staff writer at U.S. News & World Report – and before that for the Dallas Morning News and St. Louis Business Journal. LaVidaCo’s national clients include American Express, General Mills, and the National Science Foundation. Local clients include Operation Food Search, Clayton School District, and numerous authors.
