Presented by the Skandalaris Center
Join entrepreneur and Stanford University Lecturer, Doug Galen, for an exciting workshop on ‘How to Land a Job at a Startup.’
Doug has been building innovative and disruptive companies for over 25 years. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Rippleworks, a nonprofit foundation that provides the practical support entrepreneurs need to scale faster and improve more lives. Rippleworks partners high-growth social ventures around the world with leading Silicon Valley startup expertise, specifically through short-term, high-impact projects. Since launching in 2015, Rippleworks has managed 70+ projects with social ventures across 55 countries, empowering entrepreneurial teams that are improving the lives of more than 200 million people. Prior to Rippleworks, Doug helped build three startups from scratch growing revenues to $50, $150, and $500 million.
Doug also is a Lecture in Entrepreneurship at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and sits on the Board of Directors for Heifer International and Kenzie Academy. He loves spending time texting with his daughter in college, playing dominoes (and usually losing) with his wife, and finding new adventures riding his bike anywhere we can.
