Dana Watt earned her doctorate in neurosciences from Washington University in 2015. During her time as a graduate student she participated in the St. Louis entrepreneurial ecosystem, first as an officer for the student-run BioEntrepreneurship Core, then as a consultant for the BALSA group, and finally as a co-founder of a diagnostics startup company. After completing her doctoral training, Dana was selected by the Clinical Research Training Center as part of its inaugural class of Postdoctoral Fellows in Accelerated Innovation. She is completing this fellowship at the Skandalaris Center, where she develops commercialization plans for SBIR/STTR applications, performs due diligence on WashU ventures, and provides support for innovators commercializing WashU technologies.
