Kristie began her time at Washington University as an undergraduate student in 2009, graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the Sam Fox School. Combining her interests in contemporary art and writing, Kristie founded an online multimedia arts and literary magazine the following year. Also in 2014, Kristie began working with a group of local artists and independent publishers to organize the first annual St. Louis Small Press Expo, an endeavor to support and promote creative entrepreneurs in publishing, which she continues to co-organize every year. In 2015, Kristie’s interest in entrepreneurship brought her back to WashU to work for the Olin Business School’s Center for Experiential Learning. She joined the Skandalaris Center in January 2016.
