As an interdisiplinary center, our initiatives serve students, faculty, staff, and alumni from all levels and disciplines.

  • Global Impact Award

    An award for ventures whose inventions, products, ideas, and business models will have a broad and lasting impact on society.

  • Hatchery

    A course offered by Olin Business School, that allows students teams to pursue their own business ideas or support community entrepreneurs.

  • Honors in Innovation and Entrepreneurship

    Recognition for students who have shown exemplary involvement in innovation and entrepreneurship during their time at Washington University.

  • IdeaBounce®

    An online platform and event where anyone can pitch an idea, get feedback, and network with other entrepreneurs and innovators.

  • Innovation Conversations

    Interactive discussions showcasing different topics and industries with a variety of creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs.

  • League of Extraordinary Entrepreneurs

    An advanced entrepreneurship class that serves as an accelerator for extraordinary WashU student entrepreneurs in the tech/digital space.

  • Pivot 314 Fellowship

    Pivot 314 offers graduate students curated programming focused on professional development, strengthening leadership and communications skills, as well as internship opportunities.

  • Skandalaris Intership Program (SkIP)

    The Skandalaris Internship Program (SkIP) is an exclusive 10-week summer initiative designed to connect innovative St. Louis startups with a pipeline of exceptional WashU students to help drive the growth of your venture and nurture talent development in St Louis.

  • Skandalaris Launchpad

    Skandalaris Launchpad is a transformative 10-week accelerator program designed exclusively for WashU student ventures. This dynamic initiative is structured to enhance entrepreneurial skills, provide essential resources, tools, and accelerate venture development.

  • Skandalaris Summer Internship Opportunities

    A paid ten-week summer internship and intensive introduction to St. Louis and the world of startups.

  • Skandalaris Venture Competition

    A funding competition that provides expert mentorship to new ventures and startups to ready them for commercializing their idea, launching, and pitching to investors.

  • Student Enterprise Program (StEP)

    An opportunity for students to own a business on campus that serves the Washington University community.

    Organizations that allow students to gain experience and make valuable interdisciplinary connections in the areas of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Our commitment to interdisciplinary innovation and entrepreneurship is motivated by the following beliefs:
