Open House at the Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Stop by the Skandalaris Center between 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. to meet our staff, ask us questions, and learn about all the ways we encourage innovation and support student entrepreneurs. Free coffee, tea, soda and snacks, plus bring the kids to enjoy our Creativity Station! Stop by anytime or attend one of our panel discussions at 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to learn more about our student business owners and our entrepreneurship competitions. All are welcome!

Skandalaris Center Student IdeaBounce® and Panel

At 12:00 p.m. the Skandalaris Center will host a student IdeaBounce®, which is an opportunity to pitch ideas, get feedback, and make connections. We will also have a panel discussion about the various entrepreneurship competitions we offer and how your student can get involved. We will share more details about IdeaBounce®, as well as touch on the Skandalaris Venture Competition and the Global Impact Award, which are all open to WashU students of any major and class level. Join us to learn about the benefits of participating including mentorship, networking, and guidance from our staff.

Skandalaris Center Student Entrepreneur Program (StEP) Panel Discussion

Join us at 1:00 p.m. for a panel discussion with some of our Student Entrepreneurial Program (StEP) business owners. StEP provides a unique opportunity for students to own a business on campus that serves the WashU community. We’ll discuss the ins and outs of managing and leading a business as a full-time student and how it can benefit / supplement a student’s education.
