From Dorm Room to 2,000 Locations: Building a Mission-Driven Startup That Scales with Luke Saunders
March 17 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Before launching Farmer’s Fridge in 2013, Luke was already an entrepreneur at WashU. As a student, he was a Student Enterprise Program (StEP) owner, running Bears’ Bikes, where he learned firsthand what it means to truly own a business – from operations and finances to customers and accountability.
Today, Farmer’s Fridge operates in more than 2,000 locations nationwide and has served millions of fresh, healthy meals, including in communities with limited food access. In this talk, Luke will share how early, hands-on entrepreneurship shaped his path, what it takes to scale a mission-driven company, and the lessons he wishes he had known as a student founder.
