This summer, the Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Washington University in St. Louis will bring its Launchpad founders and SkIP interns to the Cortex Innovation District for an inside look at the region’s startup ecosystem.

The event will feature a candid panel discussion with founders building companies within the district. Rather than a traditional pitch event, the conversation will focus on the realities of entrepreneurship in St. Louis — why founders chose to build in Cortex, what resources and community support have been most valuable, and the lessons they learned navigating early-stage growth.
