Leadership Perspectives: Building a Growth Business in an Era of Constant Change
Wednesday, September 29, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
FreeOnline Event
The more things change … the more they change. In today’s technologically driven world, successful organizations are challenged to keep up with a dizzying rate of change. But how do you do that? And if you’re so focused on change, are you paying enough attention to growth opportunities?
WashU Olin welcomes Andrew Rubin, BSBA ’98, CEO and cofounder of Illumio, a hypergrowth late-stage cybersecurity company. Named one of the “100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs” by Goldman Sachs each year since 2015, Rubin is responsible for Illumio’s overall strategy, vision and results. He’ll sit down with marketing and entrepreneurship professor Michael Wall for a conversation that touches on how to manage the collision of data-driven strategy with the ever-present need to deliver value, building and marketing a differentiated product offering, and how to systematically encourage and motivate employees during this tidal shift in workplace expectations.
