Skandalaris Center Launches WashU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame
The Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Washington University in St. Louis has announced the creation of the WashU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame, a new initiative recognizing individuals who have helped shape the university’s culture of innovation and entrepreneurship
The Hall of Fame will honor alumni, faculty, founders, and leaders whose ventures, ideas, and leadership have made a meaningful impact at WashU and beyond.
The inaugural class of inductees will be celebrated at a ceremony on November 5, 2026, in Holmes Lounge, Ridgley Hall, starting at 5:00 PM.

Recognizing Impact and Inspiring the Future
“From the University’s inception, members of our community have been building companies, advancing new technologies, and supporting future generations of founders,” said II Luscri, assistant vice provost for innovation and entrepreneurship and managing director of the Skandalaris Center.
“This Hall of Fame is an opportunity to recognize those contributions and to tell those stories in a way that inspires others.”
Inductees will be selected based on:
- Achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship
- Impact through ventures, research, or leadership
- Contributions to the WashU innovation ecosystem
The inaugural class will include a select group of individuals representing the breadth and diversity of entrepreneurial activity across the university.
Nominations Open This Spring
Nominations for the inaugural class will be open from March 30 to May 4, 2026. Members of the WashU community, including alumni, faculty, students, and partners, are encouraged to participate in the nomination process. A selection committee composed of leaders from across the university and entrepreneurial community will review nominations and identify inductees.
The Hall of Fame is part of the Skandalaris Center’s broader effort to elevate and connect innovation and entrepreneurship across WashU, while recognizing the individuals who have helped build that culture over time.
More information, including nomination details, is available on the Skandalaris website.
