StEP Graduate Intern
Rosie is a Ph.D. student in the McKelvey School of Engineering where her research focuses on the application of machine learning techniques to investigate imaging biomarkers for mental health. Her interest in ensuring that scientific discoveries can impact the end user resulted in her involvement with entrepreneurial activities within WashU. Rosie is now the President of the InSITE Fellowship at WashU, which is a leadership development program where students consult with startups in the local ecosystem to provide expertise on all factors pertaining to a startup. Rosie's previous experience with developing an idea into a business, and gaining funding to sustain the business, has resulted in her desire to support other students with similar aspirations. As such, she has joined the StEP program to support undergraduate students in their journey in an effort to further support the local ecosystem within WashU.
