Rachel Burns, Owner, Bold Spoon Creamery
Rachel began Bold Spoon Creamery in 2020, with the first sale on May 2, 2020. Bold Spoon makes small batch super premium ice cream with a focus on sourcing local ingredients and creating imaginative flavor profiles. In May 2021, Bold Spoon’s home moved to a 57-acre farm in Park Hills, MO, in a barn converted into a commercial kitchen. Big gardens and a growing orchard just outside of the kitchen door will provide many of the fruits and herbs used in the ice cream, a true farm to bowl brand.
Rachel began a career in something very different from ice cream, she has over 20-years of experience in financial services. Rachel is also a corporate investment consultant and helps large corporations with the investment strategy and implementation within their Defined Contribution and Pension Plans.
