CareerRoad Live Interview Event: A Unique Way to Enhance Your Resume While Guiding Students to Success

Gregory Dell (BU ’98) and Shane Dell, the founders of CareerRoad.org, will present a unique opportunity for WashU students to positively impact thousands of students while simultaneously creating opportunities for yourself. Shane will conduct a recorded live interview of Cynthia Brinkely, and explore her successful and diverse career story as a businesswoman, leader, and philanthropist. Cynthia’s will share tips for career success and challenges that young adults in the corporate workplace should anticipate. A Q&A session will follow.

Cynthia has over 30 years of executive leadership experience at large, global blue-chip companies such as Centene, General Motors, and AT&T. She is currently on the board of directors for three of Missouri’s largest companies: Ameren, Energizer, and Schnucks Markets. Her prior work experience includes roles as President and Chief Operating Officer (Centene), Chief Human Resources Officer (General Motors), President of AT&T Missouri, and Vice President of Talent Development. Cynthia is on the board of the Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Fords Theater in D.C. and is a former board of director for WashU, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, NinePBS.org, and the St. Louis Zoological Commission.
