Innovation Conversation: Andrew Rubin (BSBA ’98)
Monday, February 17, 2025 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Simon Hall, Room 103 Saint Louis, MO 63105 United States
Join us for an Innovation Conversation with WashU Alum Andrew Rubin (BSBA ’98) as he shares insights on founding and scaling his cybersecurity startup, Illumio.
In 2013, Andrew Rubin co-founded Illumino. Illumio is proactive and reactive to cyberattacks with its simplified technology that stops hackers and malware from moving laterally through networks. By creating a consistent microsegmentation approach, Illumio has developed Zero Trust Segmentation (ZTS), which contains the spread of breaches and ransomware.
As Founder, CEO and Board Member of Illumio, Andrew is responsible for the overall strategy and vision of the company. In 2024, he received Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award and has been named to Goldman Sachs’ “100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs” seven times as part of its Builders & Innovators program.
