SUMMER ENTREPRENEURIAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Connecting WashU students with internships and supporting the St. Louis entrepreneurial community in the process
Since 2008, the Skandalaris Center has offered a Summer Entrepreneurial Internship Program for undergraduate students in all majors. This opportunity allows students to intern for an early-stage startup in the St. Louis area and explore St. Louis’ vibrant entrepreneurial community. Venture hosts range in industry from biotech to education to design firms to patent law.
This paid, 10-week summer program is more than an internship—it is an intensive introduction to St. Louis and to the world of startups, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The students work at their internship for most of the week, and then on each Wednesday afternoon, they participate in special programming such as tours of entrepreneurial areas/neighborhoods, networking events, and panel discussions. Lunch is provided at most Wednesday events.
