As they become available, various opportunities within the WashU innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, whether those are jobs/internships at startups or faculty-based projects, will be posted below. Click on the included links to apply.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

Summer Internship: a temporary, educational experience in which participants acquire practical knowledge by working at an organization during a specific time frame (typically June – August). This opportunity could be compensated or apply towards course credit

 

In-Semester Internship: a temporary, educational experience in which participants acquire practical knowledge by working at an organization coinciding with the fall or spring semester of an academic year. This opportunity could be compensated or apply towards course credit

 

Project-Based: when employers or teams seek talented and qualified individuals for a specific short-term project that needs to be completed within an organization. These tasks have clear milestones and deliverables

 

Freelance: commonly used to describe a person who is self-employed, able to work with multiple clients at any given time, and is not necessarily committed long-term to a particular employer

 

Temporary: different from freelance, this role is generally working at an organization for a predetermined amount of time, with a potential to be hired full time

 

Paid: compensation through an hourly wage or salary is offered

 

Unpaid: compensation through non-monetary forms such as course credit or equity can be offered
