Shauna leads the branding, marketing, and communications for the Skandalaris Center. This includes promoting all 25+ events and programs and overseeing the vision and execution of social media, content marketing, design, the newsletter, and the website. She also manages a team of student workers who help create content and creative events that drive brand awareness and engagement.
Prior to her creative marketing role at the Skandalaris Center, Shauna indulged her analytical side at General Mills in Bentonville, Arkansas, where she did business analysis and category management. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. While there, she co-founded a social platform for couples, for which she served as the Marketing Director. Innovation and entrepreneurship are her true passions, so being a part of the activity at the Skandalaris Center is a bit of a homecoming.
In her free time, Shauna can be found sitting for long hours in the coffee shops, finding every excuse to eat every pastry, scouring thrift stores for vintage finds, or traveling.
